Willem Penaat (Nl 1875-1957)

Pair of modernist lounge chairs made for Metz & Co. 1935.

A rare pair of chairs ready for and willing to be reupholstered! They are currently in original as found condition with worn and tired upholstery, but still with good frames and with original sprung seats. The back rest is slightly loose on one chair and one foot is loose (but both of those issues could be easily sorted out during the preparation stage of reupholstery). Never found as a pair.

Price: 1.900 euro (x2)

It is constructed of solid oak wood with a drop-in sprung seat with beige corduroy fabric.
